Let us guide you through the magic of this enchanted winter dreamscape. Mush your own dog sled team or sit back and enjoy the beauty of a winter day. This is an experience that you will never forget! Your adventure begins as you arrive on the island by ferry, wind sled or driving the ice road. It is a short 2.3 mile trip to your jump off point - The Island Inn (on Madeline Island). You may choose a trip that circles Basswood Island on Lake Superior or through the wooded trails of the island. Some have even gotten married on the Lake!
